A lone male held up neighborhood coffee shop Local Jo’s yesterday in the West End of the city.
From Halifax Police:
“At 245PM, a lone male entered the store and asked to use the phone. He then pulled his shirt up over his head and demanded the cash. He indicated he had a gun but none was seen. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot. He was not located. There were no injuries to anyone. The matter is still under investigation. The suspect is described as a white male, in his 40s, clean shaven with grey hair. He was wearing a black vest and a dark T shirt.”
