Local Youth Making Humanitarian Trip to Poland

Hello Prospect Communities!

My name is Kelsey Holt. I am 16 years old and attending Halifax West High School in the International Baccalaureate Programme. I am also a resident of Hatchet Lake myself!

I have been given the opportunity of going on a humanitarian trip to Poland in July of 2011 with the group Coalition for Kids International to grant the wishes of terminally ill children in homes and hospitals there.

In order to participate on this once in a lifetime trip, I need to raise 3,900$.

This trip will not only improve my cultural, ethical, and social awareness, but in doing this will also improve our communities by showing the world the important values we have here in our area. I am simply trying to raise awareness throughout our communities about my efforts to obtain the funds I need to participate in this program. I would appreciate feedback from everyone who has suggestions for fundraising or perhaps would like to sponsor me.
