Loccitane Iris Bleu

Refreshing and light, the Iris Blue Body Milk from L’Occitane, and hand cream are quickly becoming a part of my night time routine. If you’re not familiar with this product line you’re going to want to head inside this post.

Very different, and slightly longer lasting than other “de Grasse collection” scents, Iris Blue “allies the velvety notes of the blue iris from Grasse to the transparent notes of the white iris from the Mediterranean. La Collection de Grasse celebrates the fragrant know-how of this French Provençal town by bringing together precious raw materials from close and distant lands”.

I adore the scent and feel of this product; it’s really unlike any other I’ve tried (and we all know I’ve tried a lot). I love the fresh clean scent, and the way it makes my skin feel; it’s so soft, and the product absorbs very quickly which is nice because I apply it before bed and I really just want to crawl in and go to sleep.

When I got back from Mexico my skin was super dry, and was even peeling in some places where I got a bit too much sun. Despite my best efforts at applying sunscreen (like a maniac) I kind of missed my knees, and the top of one foot one afternoon lol and so I had some pretty funny looking legs and feet for a couple days. When I got back I applied this product every night before bed (smells SO good), and I’m happy to say I’m back to normal now 🙂

I don’t know about you blog reader, but I’m a big tub person (I know it’s a polarizing thing) and there’s nothing better to me than getting into the warm tub, and then applying a lovely scented lotion before bed.
