Long-time Spryfield booster Marjorie Willison retires

Marjorie Willison, long-time director of Chebucto Connections, the Spryfield development agency, retired in February. Actually, she calls it “re-styling” rather than retiring. She’ll still remain very active in the community, helping out at the Urban Farm and I’m sure she’ll make appearances at the community centre and on the Maritime Noon phone-in. For her retirement present, the community endowed a literacy award in her name, which, given her work getting Pathways to Education into Spryfield, suited her to a T. Bonnie Ste-Croix has been sharing Marjorie’s duties at Chebucto Connections for some time now. She and Kristen Hollery of the Saint Paul’s Family Resources Institute will be stepping up now that Marjorie is fully retired.
