It’s always nice to have the opportunity to try out those “luxe” products to see if they’re as good as what they’re hyped up to be before forking over the cash for their full sized counterparts.  I can spend hours strolling through Sephora but I never pull the trigger on the pricier skincare and makeup items I’d like to have because I’m so scared it’ll be a waste of money! A $20 hit isn’t so bad, but a bottle of $85 cream – ouch.

Loose Button is doing something so smart for Canadians that I’m thrilled to share with you! Their Luxe Box is a box {literally a beautifully packaged little box} that is filled with 3-5 deluxe sized samples of various brands of products {skincare, haircare, fragrance, makeup} that you sign up to receive every month.

The Luxe Box system is a subscription available on a monthly {$12}, quarterly {$36} or yearly {$120} term that includes free shipping within Canada.  They’re also in the midst of launching a new system where users can create beauty profiles to personalize your order – for example, if you were interested in only natural/eco-friendly beauty products you could sign up for “the organic box”.

They’re currently working with these brands below, but expect a bunch more eco-friendly, organic companies to be included in the line up:

For someone like me who’s a bit of a product junkie, I love receiving a little present like this in the mail. It’s fun and it’s an easy way to experiment with new brands. And there are no teeny one-time use products in these boxes – you’ll get multiple uses out of each and there will be 3-5 in your box of goodies.

I was really excited to receive Dermalogica in my Luxe Box because it’s a line I’ve been wanting to try out for a while. I’m really enjoying their Daily Microfoliant and will definitely be buying it full size now after using it for about a week. My skin is ultra sensitive but I can use this exfoliant every night before bed and my skin is super smooth every morning!

I also really like a brand of Canadian organic body soap that was included in my box by Consonant Skincare – the bar of soap is simply made with 4 ingredients, is 100% natural and organic and comes with a litle loofa that doubles as a mini soap dish that you can sit your natural soap on! Super smart. This is a great gift soap that I’m keeping in mind for birthdays.
