Lunenburg County RCMP responded to a structure collapse (shed) on the Bruhm Road.
At approximately 3:40 p.m., Lunenburg County RCMP responded to a collapsed shed on the Bruhm Road.
Preliminary investigation determined a 65-year-old male was clearing heavy snow from the roof when the roof gave way. He man became trapped under the debris but managed to call out for help which was heard by neighbours.
RCMP, Northfield Fire Department, and local citizens were successful in extracting the man from the debris. The man was transported to the South Shore Regional Hospital via EHS with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is continuing.
