At approximately 10:30 a.m. yesterday, Lunenburg County District RCMP in Chester responded to a complaint of a dangerous driver near Chester School and Chester Area Middle School.

Upon arrival, police learned that two males were in a vehicle driving in an erratic manner around and on school property which included sidewalks, walkways and the soccer field. The school went into hold and secure mode as the situation unfolded.

That afternoon at approximately 2 p.m., Lunenburg District RCMP arrested the 17-year-old male driver without incident. He has been charged with Dangerous Driving, Mischief, Causing a Disturbance and Breach of Probation and will appear in Bridgewater Court today at 9:30 a.m.
