Lunenburg District RCMP arrests two for break and enter, Walden, N.S.

Lunenburg District RCMP has arrested a man and woman in relation to a recent break and enter to a cottage.

On August 30, RCMP responded to a break and enter where eight firearms, a canoe and other items were stolen.

Further investigation identified a 29-year-old male and a 22-year-old female who were arrested without incident on September 2, 2015, at a residence in Maders Cove.

RCMP also recovered a 2012 Ford F150 truck stolen from Saskatchewan. It is believed the vehicle was used in the offence . Both of the accused have been living in the Maders Cove area having travelled from Saskatchewan. The eight firearms and the canoe have not yet been located.

The pair are facing Break and Enter and Theft-related charges. The man is remanded into custody until a court appearance on September 10, 2015 and the woman was released by the court and is scheduled to appear on October 7, 2015.
