Lunenburg District RCMP are investigating a house fire that occurred earlier today in New Germany.

At approximately 9:20 a.m. this morning, Bridgewater RCMP, New Germany and West Northfield Fire Departments responded to a structure fire at a house on Highway 208 in New Germany.

The fire was contained and there was moderate damage to the house. The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire and there are no reported injuries.

The RCMP and the Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating to determine the cause of the fire.
