Lunenburg District RCMP on scene of fatal collision, Lake Center, N.S.

Lunenburg District RCMP are currently on the scene of a fatal single-vehicle collision in Lake Centre.

At approximately 5:40 a.m. Lunenburg District RCMP and EHS responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Lakefield Rd.

in Lake Centre. Preliminary investigation revealed that the lone occupant, a 38-year-old woman from Lake Centre, died at the scene.

An RCMP collision analyst is on scene and the investigation is ongoing. Lakefield Rd. is closed to traffic, however no major traffic disruptions are expected in that area. Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends at this difficult time.
