Lunenburg District RCMP are currently on the scene of a serious motor vehicle collision in Middlewood.
At approximately 8:15 p.m., Lunenburg District RCMP and EHS responded to a report of a collision on Highway 103 near distance marker 182. Preliminary investigation revealed an apparent head-on collision between a Toyota Rav4 carrying two adults and a Pontiac G7 carrying two adults and three children. Injuries are ranging in seriousness, with one considered critical.
An RCMP collision analyst is on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
Highway 103 will be closed for the next five hours, and traffic is being rerouted onto Highway 331 eastbound taking exit 17A and westbound taking exit 15.
