Squirt had a really great Easter this year getting all the treats she asked the Easter Bunny for. The Lush Bunny also sent us some Easter treats that we really enjoyed.
It is reusable, so you can set it aside for another 9 baths or so. I just wish it comes with a carrot container to make storing more fun 🙂 Scent wise, it smells citrusy because of the fruity oils and carrot oil in the formula.
Besides the bubble fun, this carrot makes the skin feel soft and moisturized, always a bonus with Lush’s bath products.
Ingredients: Sodium Carbonate, Cream of Tartar (Potassium bitartrate), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerine, Lauryl Betaine, Fragrance, Sicilian Lemon Oil (Citrus limonum), Buchu Oil (Barosma betulina), Bergamot Oil (Citrus Aurantium bergamia), Limonene, Linalool, D&C Orange No. 4, Polyester-3, D&C Red No. 28, D&C Orange No. 5.
Moving from orange to pink, this is a Fluffy Egg bath bomb (130g, $6.95).
Smells sweet, similar to Creamy Candy bubble bar or Snow Fairy, with a candy flower as decoration, half of this egg is good enough for one bath.
Just drop it in the tub filled with warm water and see it sizzle and turn your water pink. And you won’t be able to complain about how the skin stepping out of this bath 🙂
Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Fragrance, Synthetic Musk, Benzyl Benzoate, Propylene Glycol, D&C Red No. 27, D&C Red No. 33 , FD&C Red No. 4, Candy Flower (Sucrose, Corn Starch, FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Red No. 40, FD&C Yellow No. 5 & FD&C Yellow No. 6).
New this season, and limited edition, is the Brightside bubble bar (200g, $8.95).
The colourful swirls are just a cheer to any mood, and so is the citrusy scent (again), but you have to bring yourself to crumble a bit of the bar under the running water to make bubbles. Such a hard thing to do 🙂
Like with the first two products, I keep the rest of the bar in a Ziploc bag (outside the bathroom) for next time.
This bubble bar’s “side effect” is to tone and brighten the skin, but I don’t think we can confirm it unless we go through a bunch of them in numerous baths.
Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream of Tartar (Potassium bitartrate), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Sicilian Mandarin Oil (Citrus Nobilis), Tangerine Oil (Citrus reticulata), Bergamot Oil (Citrus Aurantium bergamia), Fragrance, Limonene, Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides), Linalool, FD&C Red No. 4, D&C Orange No. 4.
Hope everyone had an awesome Easter or just a relaxing long weekend. This is the mother – daughter NOTD for you 🙂 Me – a few colours from Orly Sweet collection and others, Squirt – Revlon “scented when dry” pastels, topped up with glitters 🙂
The very rare 4-day long weekend has come and almost gone and here is me finding I still don’t have enough time to do what I planned. How does that work lol? But Squirt was very happy this Easter, I guess that’s all that matters. She said she felt bad for me not having a holiday to eat chocolate, and I told her adults get the day after Easter to indulge when stores put chocolate on clearance lol.
