Macdonald Bridge closure for Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon

(Dartmouth,NS)­ Halifax Harbour Bridges (HHB) advises motorists of the following closures for the Angus L. Macdonald Bridge on Sunday, May 19th: 
  • The Macdonald Bridge will be closed to all vehicle traffic from 6:30  a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 
  • The Barrington Street ramp will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 
  • The bike lane and sidewalk of the Macdonald Bridge will remain open  during this time. 
  • There will be no lane closures on the MacKay Bridge during this time. 
     
The closure is taking place to accommodate the runners of the 10th annual 
Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon. 
 
With 34 million crossings each year, HHB’s mission is to provide safe, efficient 
and reliable cross‐harbour transportation infrastructure at an appropriate cost.
