Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that road construction will take place during the evening and overnight hours of Sept. 7 (today), and Thursday, Sept. 8, near civic 651 and 667 Main Street/Highway 7, in Dartmouth.
Crews will be on-site doing excavation work each evening beginning at 6 p.m. and continuing until 6 a.m. the following morning, in relation to a new development located behind civic 651 and 667 Main Street/Highway 7.
During this night work, the street will be restricted to two travel lanes with an altered center line. All traffic lanes will be fully reinstated no later than 6 a.m. each morning, providing unrestricted vehicular and pedestrian travel. Traffic control personnel will be on-site to guide on-street traffic and pedestrians as required.
The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work may cause.
