Male In Wheelchair Hit By Vehicle In School Driveway

At 7:55 PM – HRP members responded to a motor vehicle / pedestrian collision that occurred in a crosswalk. 
The incident occurred in the driveway of St. Agnes School where it opens onto Mumford Rd in Halifax. The wheelchair bound pedestrian was proceeding north and was crossing the driveway when he was struck by the vehicle at low speed. The pedestrian was knocked over in his wheelchair but was not injured and did not require medical attention. The vehicle involved was not damaged nor was the 45 year old male driver injured.
This matter remains under investigation at this time.
