Man & Woman Charged In Break-In

From Halifax Police:

A man and woman face charges of breaking into a Halifax home as a result of good work yesterday by
members of the Integrated General Investigative Section and HRP Patrol members.

A couple awoke yesterday morning to find their Houda Court home had been broken into sometime
overnight while they slept. They reported the incident to police and it was quickly discovered a credit
card stolen in the break had been used at multiple businesses. A member of the General Investigative
Section, upon viewing video surveillance from one of the stores, recognized the suspect, which resulted
in West Division Patrol members arresting a 42-year-old man and 24-year-old woman at a Forest Hills
Drive address yesterday evening.

The man is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today facing a number of charges stemming
from the break-in, while the woman has been released, scheduled to appear at a later date.
