Man and woman arrested after break-in at Dartmouth school

Halifax Regional Police has charged a man and a woman in relation to a break and enter in Dartmouth this morning.

At approximately 3:35 a.m. officers responded to a break and enter in progress at Dartmouth South Academy located at 111 Prince Arthur Avenue. Suspects had broken a window in the school and stolen electronics. East Division patrol officers and a K9 team arrested two suspects a short distance away and seized the stolen electronics.

A 21-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman are both scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court at a later date to face one count each of break and enter and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
