At 9:37pm, HRP officers responded to a Bomb threat in the 5000 block of George Street. The initial information indicated a quantify of explosive was left in a business. Officers secured the immediate area and temporarily evacuated patrons of the business while an explosives trained K9 unit attended and cleared the business. The suspect was located in the immediate area and was arrested. A 46 year old Halifax male will appear in Halifax Provincial Court and will face charges
