Man arrested after flight from police, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), N.S.

RCMP charge driver after fleeing from police.

This morning, at approximately 12:05 a.m., RCMP attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Forest Hills Parkway in Cole Harbour.

The vehicle failed to stop and took off. The vehicle was followed onto Mount Edward Road in Dartmouth where it ended up crashing into a snow bank. The 26-year-old male driver fled on foot but was quickly arrested by Halifax Regional Police. He is facing charges under the Criminal Code and Motor Vehicle Act.
