One man has been arrested and police are looking for two others after separate offenses last night.
Offence Related to Prostitution
On Nov. 11 at approx. 6:20 PM Halifax Regional Police officers responded to the area of 5600 Block of Spring Garden Rd in response to a complaint that a male party in that area was soliciting women for sex. A description was provided of the suspect,he was observed in a business in the vicinity, he fled when approached by police and following a lengthy foot chase the suspect was taken into custody. The adult male from the Halifax area will face prostitution related charges and has been released pending his appearance in court.
Robbery
On Nov. 12th at approx. 1:40 AM the Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery complaint. The male victim stated that he had been walking in the area of South St/Queen St. in Halifax when he was approached by two suspects, one party brandished a knife and demanded the victims wallet and cell phone. The two suspects were then observed fleeing in a gray sedan style Volvo. The victim was not injured during this incident.
Suspects description:
1. Black male, wearing blue jeans and football style jacket, black hat with red trim.
2. Asian male, wearing baggy pants and a football style jacket, green hat with yellow trim.
