HRP arrested a 63 year old man for selling homemade liquor out of his residence.

On the 7th of February 2010, the Halifax Regional Police Vice Unit with the Liquor Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant on a residence in the 100 block of Windmill Road in Dartmouth. Located in the residence was a quantity of beer, wine and alcohol along with a still. It is alleged the occupant was selling these products from his home. All these items were seized. A 63 year old male was arrested under the Customs and Excise Act as well as the Liquor Control Act. He was released to appear in court at a later date.
