Man arrested for trespassing

 

Police have charged a man after an incident in Downtown Halifax overnight.

Release:

 At 4:15 am this morning members of the Central Quick Response unit observed a male acting suspiciously in the area of Birmingham street in Halifax.
  The male was observed trespassing onto a residential property.  He was further observed on a deck at the rear of this  residence near a window.  During the arrest the suspect  became combative with officers and received minor injuries.  He was taken to the QE II for treatment.
  A 49 year old Dartmouth male is expected to be charged with Trespass by night and resisting arrest.
