Man Arrested in Connection to April Armed Robbery Case

Halifax Regional Police has arrested a man in connection with robbery that occurred on April 28 in Halifax.

At 8:30 p.m., a 21-year-old man was assaulted with a knife and robbed while in the process of selling a mobile phone in the Thomas Raddall Drive area. The victim was cut on the hand. Several stolen phones were located by police while searching for the suspect. The victim was treated by EHS at the scene and released.

On April 30, officers assigned to the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division arrested a 24-year-old man from Dartmouth in the 200 block of Princess Margaret Boulevard in relation to this incident. He is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today on charges of robbery with a weapon, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
