At approximately 9:00 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to a male laying on the sidewalk at the corner of  Maynard St­reet and Charles Str­eet in Halifax, it was reported there was a toy gun next to him. When officers arrived they located the male and a loaded firearm next to hi­m. The  29 year old male from Halifax was taken into cu­stody without incide­nt. He will be atten­ding court today to face numerous weapons related charges.
