At approximately 9:00 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to a male laying on the sidewalk at the corner of Maynard Street and Charles Street in Halifax, it was reported there was a toy gun next to him. When officers arrived they located the male and a loaded firearm next to him. The 29 year old male from Halifax was taken into custody without incident. He will be attending court today to face numerous weapons related charges.
