Man attempts to rob one store, is successful robbing another

RCMP in East and West Hants are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect.

On June 18, at approximately 4:15 a.m., a man entered the Circle K in Mount Uniacke and attempted to rob the store. Officers responded to the alarm, but the suspect had fled the area.

A short time later, the same man entered the Irving in Windsor’s Garlands Crossing and stole a quantity of money. He left the scene on an all-terrain vehicle.

The suspect is described as 5-foot-11. He was wearing a black Reebok hoodie, jeans, and tan work boots.

He presented like he had a weapon under his sweater, but nothing was produced.
