Police have charged a man after a drug search on Big Tancook Island.
On August 22nd, 2014, Lunenburg County RCMP, in conjunction with the South Shore Integrated Street Crime Unit, executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence and surrounding property on Big Tancook Island.
Police seized a total of 24 marijuana plants in various stages of growth.
A 57 year-old male from Big Tancook Island is facing charges of Production of Marijuana and is scheduled to appear in Bridgewater Court on October 15th, 2014. Police are continuing their investigation.
