Man charged following search, Fox Point, N.S.

Police have arrested and charged a man after a search in Fox Point.

On August 17th, 2014, Lunenburg County RCMP, in conjunction with the South Shore Integrated Street Crime Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence on Hwy 329.

During the search police seized cocaine, marijuana, and cash as well as recovered numerous items of stolen property including four firearms.

Joseph Davis, a 23 year-old male from Fox Point was arrested at the residence and appeared in Bridgewater Provincial Court Monday charged with various weapons, stolen property, and drug offences. The individual also has outstanding warrants of arrest for robberies in the Halifax area.

Police are continuing their investigation and expect to lay charges against other individuals in this matter.
