At approximately 1 a.m. Saturday members of Halifax Regional Police responded to
a disturbance call at the Old Mill Tavern located at 200 Wyse Road in
Dartmouth.
An altercation between several males had occurred both
outside and inside of the establishment and as a result a 35-year-old
man sustained several stab wounds to his torso. He was taken to hospital
with non-life threatening injuries. Yesterday morning, a man was
arrested in Dartmouth in connection with this incident.
Forty-year-old Floyd Clayton of North Preston was charged with
attempted murder, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon. He
appeared in Dartmouth Provincial Court yesterday afternoon.
