RCMP is investigating a man found deceased after swimming in Three Mile Lake in Windsor Junction.
At 8:54 p.m. yesterday, Halifax District RCMP along with HRM Fire and EHS responded to a call of a drowning on Three Mile Lake. A 31-year-old man from Windsor Junction, NS, had been swimming in the lake when he became distressed and went under.
The man was located in the water at 1:48 a.m. today by Halifax Ground Search and Rescue using side scanning sonar and pronounced deceased at the scene. An investigation by the RCMP and Nova Scotia Medical Examiners Service is ongoing.
