New Glasgow Regional Police have charged a 24-year-old adult male from Pictou County with Sexual Assault, Assault, Breach of a Release Order, and Uttering Threats and Assault Causing Bodily Harm.

These charges are in relation to incident that occurred outside a New Glasgow residence on the evening of May 02, 2021.

Upon investigation, the suspect was arrested on Monday morning, May 03, 2021 and was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Pictou Provincial Court on Tuesday May 4, 2021.

New Glasgow Regional Police Major Crime Unit continue to investigate.
