A man faces weapons charges after a search in Dutch Settlement.

This morning, the RCMP/HRP Integrated Guns and Gangs Unit, with assistance from the RCMP Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at a residence on Dutch Settlement Rd.

Officers seized two long guns, ammunition and small quantity of marijuana.

A 40-year-old male was taken into custody and faces weapons charges under the Criminal Code, including Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm. He will be appearing in Shubenacadie Court on April 7th.
