Man Flees Police After Being Pulled Over

On Oct 23rd – At 10:10 PM plain clothes members of the Halifax Regional Police conducted a vehicle stop in the area of 2453 Brunswick St. in Halifax. 

On Oct 23rd – At 10:10 PM plain clothes members of the Halifax Regional Police conducted a vehicle stop in the area of 2453 Brunswick St. in Halifax.  The officers were interviewing the lone male occupant of the vehicle who was known to police when he suddenly fled on foot from the officers. The members gave chase but lost sight of the party, K9 was called in to assist but the subject was not located. At 11:30PM members attended an address in the 3300 Block of Brunswick St. and located the subject who had fled earlier, the subject was taken into custody without incident. A 26 year old man from the Halifax area is now facing charges of escaping police custody and breaching a court order, he will be appearing in court at a later date.
