Man found with gunshot wound in Burnside

HRP release:

Police are investigating after a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound in Dartmouth this morning.

At approximately 11:06 a.m., police received a report of an injured man located near Wright Avenue and Garland Avenue.  When police arrived, they located a 23-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.  He was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. 

Police do not believe the man was shot at the location he was found and do not believe the incident was random. The investigation is ongoing.
