RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment are investigating a fatal collision between a man and a passenger train near Wellington.
On March 9, 2024 at approximately 6:23 p.m., Lower Sackville RCMP Detachment, and emergency services, responded to a report of a person having been struck by an eastbound passenger train near Hwy. 2 in Wellington.
Officers located a 41-year-old male, from Fletchers Lake, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
