Man in Bedford sprayed with bear spray by teens

Man in Bedford sprayed with bear spray by teens At 8:08 p.m. a 37 year old male reported he was sprayed with bear spray in his face. This occurred in the 1400 block of the Bedford Highway in Bedford.

There was a verbal confrontation between him and a group of teens, which started as a result of the teens littering. One teen then sprayed him in the face with a sensory irritant.

The suspects were three teens (one female and two males). They fled on foot. The victim was treated by EHS at the scene but was not injured.

Suspects are described as a female with sandy blonde hair, wearing jeans,dark grey hoodie and carrying a large black purse. One male was wearing a multi-coloured grey/red/black hoodie and the second was wearing jeans and a charcoal grey zip up sweater. All were 14-16 years old.
