Man in custody after bank robbery

Release:

At approximately 0950 hrs this morning the Truro Police Service responded to a call of a robbery at the Scotiabank, 7 Inglis Place. 

Patrol officers and the Truro Police K9 Unit arrived within moments of the call and began actively looking for the suspect.

Through investigation officers identified and located a suspect at an apartment building in Downtown Truro.

The suspect, a 40 year old male, was arrested for armed robbery at the apartment building and is currently in police custody.

The Truro Police Service Criminal Investigation Division is continuing this investigation.
