Man in Custody after Shots Fired in Eastern Passage

One man is in police custody after gunshots were fired at a home and vehicle overnight.

At approximately 3:00 a.m. this morning, Halifax District RCMP and the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division responded to 911 calls of shots fired in the Cedar Lane area of Eastern Passage.

Officers from the Halifax Regional Police Emergency Response Team and Halifax Regional Police K-9 Service Dog, assisted RCMP officers in locating the suspect who had fled from police. The suspect was located in a residence nearby on Pine St. where he arrested.

No one was injured during this incident.  A  24-year-old man from Eastern Passage is in police custody while the investigation continues.
