(Update) Man injured, arrest made after stabbing in Dartmouth

Assault with a weapon

Update:​ Tyler Phillip Dewolfe, 31, of Dartmouth has been charged with assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, possession of a dangerous weapon and breach of probation. He will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court later today.

At approx. 11:57pm on Thursday, August 22, Halifax Regional Police located an adult male in the 0-100 block of Pinecrest Dr, Dartmouth, with an injury from an edged weapon. This male was transported to the Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Shortly after, Police arrested an adult male for Assault with a weapon. Both males are known to one another.

Members of the General Investigation Section are currently investigating.
