Man injured in motor­cycle collision – Gaspe­reau, Kings County

At 2:20 p.m. yester­day, Kings District RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Greenfield Rd., involving a car and a motorcycle. The two vehicles collided, and the male driver and sole occupant of the motorcycle was thrown into a wood­ed area adjacent to the road. He is an 18-year-old man from Kings County. He was transported via Lif­eFlight to hospital with what is believed to be serious inju­ries. The occupants of the car were not injured.

 

The cause of the col­lision is under inve­stigation, and an RC­MP Traffic Analyst was called to examine the scene. Greenfie­ld Rd. was closed be­tween Ridge Rd. and White Rock Rd. The road has since been re-opened.
