From HRPD:
A man has been re-arrested in connection with a sexual assault that took place last month.
The arrest came after consultation between investigators from the HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit and Public Prosecution Services regarding the incident, which occurred on June 27. As a result of those discussions and further investigation by the Major Crime Unit, a man was re-arrested last night without incident just before 7 p.m.
Twenty-two-year-old Robert Thomas Crowe of Cole Harbour is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today to face new charges in connection with the incident. In addition to the previous charges, Crowe faces charges of sexual assault causing bodily harm, forcible confinement, robbery, and breach of conditions.
