Man Robs Bedford Bank In A Suit & Tie

Halifax Police are investigating a robbery of the TD Canada Trust last night in Bedford. 

 

From Halifax Police:

 

“At 650 p.m. this evening police responded to the TD Canada Trust, 1475 Bedford Highway in relation to a Robbery.  Upon arrival officers learned that a male suspect entered the bank , produced a note that indicated that he was in possession of a firearm and demanded cash.   The suspect received a quantity of cash and left the scene on foot.   The suspect is described as

White male , 40’s , 180 pounds, 5′ 10″, wearing a Khaki colored suit and tie and a ball cap.

There were no injuries and no weapon was produced or seen.   The incident continues to be investigated by the General Investigative Section.”
