Man robs youth of iPod, said he had a gun

Tuesday afternoon in Halifax.

Two 16-year-old boys were waiting for a bus near the Captain William
Spry Centre when they were approached by a man. He indicated he had a
gun, although no weapon was seen, and grabbed the Ipod that one of the
youths was listening to and fled the area.

The suspect is described as a white man in his thirties, with a medium
build, dark beard and glasses. At the time of the incident he was
wearing a dark jacket and a hat, possibly a Boston Celtics’ hat.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police
