On July 2nd, 2019 at 6:54 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to an industrial accident at 3367 North Marginal Rd, Halifax, the Irving Shipyard.
A 40 year old man had been struck by metal from a piece of equipment. The man fell after being struck. He was taken to the QEII hospital with what was believed to be life threating injuries.
The incident is currently being investigated by the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Halifax Regional Police.
