Man seriously injured after incident at shipyard

On July 2nd, 2019 at 6:54 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to an industrial accident at 3367 North Marginal Rd, Halifax, the Irving Shipyard.​

A 40 year old man had been struck by metal from a piece of equipment.​ The man fell after being struck. He was taken to the QEII hospital with what was believed to be life threating injuries.​

The incident is currently being investigated by the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Halifax Regional Police.
