Man shot near Halifax Commons faces life-threatening injuries

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a shooting that occurred last night in Halifax.

At approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a weapons call and an injured person in the 1900 block of Robie Street. Officers located a man who had been shot. The man was taken to the hospital for life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is in the early stages.
