From HRPD:
At 10:10 p.m. West units were dispatched to a motel on Melrose Avenue Halifax, in relation to a weapons offence. A 30-year-old male resident of the motel was located suffering from a deep laceration on his face. The male was uncooperative with the responding officers and did not provide any information as to how the injury occurred. FIS was called out to process the scene and the male was taken to the QE2 for treatment of his injury. This matter is still under investigation.
