Man stabbed in the neck, one in custody

From HRPD:
At 8:15 p.m. a patrol member was approached on Prince Arthur Avenue, Dartmouth by a male advising a man had just been stabbed at a nearby residence.  A 27-year-old man was found on the front steps of the residence suffering from a stab wound to his neck, he was initially conscious but became unresponsive at the scene.  He was transported to hospital by EHS where he remains with injuries that are life-threatening. The incident occurred inside the residence.

One male has been in police custody overnight. He is known to the victim.
The Integrated Major Crime Unit is continuing the  investigation.
