Man stabbed on Halifax Waterfront

On September 4th, 2022, at approximately 12:36 a.m., police reported a weapons call in the 1600 block of Lower Water Street. Police located a male on scene suffering from injuries consistent with being the victim of a stabbing. Victim was transported to the hospital for treatment where he was later pronounced deceased.

Police are currently on scene, for completion of preliminary investigation. Vehicle and pedestrian traffic is being rerouted. There is no Immediate threat to the general public.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to contact police at 902-490-5020.
