A 22 year old Halifax man is in the QEII Hospital, with serious injuries following an incident on Evans Avenue in Halifax.
At 10:40 pm, Halifax Regional Police responded to a 911 call, stating a male had been assaulted on Evans Avenue. The victim in this matter stated he was assaulted by persons as he was parked in his vehicle. The victim was assaulted, stabbed and suffered serious injuries that are not believed to be life threatening. the victim was taken to the QEII Hospital where he awaits treatment.
The victim is not cooperating with the police investigation. It is suspected that the victim knows his assaulters; this is not considered a random act.
