Halifax Regional Police were called to a serious workplace incident on Chain Lake Drive yesterday afternoon. At around 2:30 p.m., a 44-year-old man fell from a ladder while working in the 200 block of the busy commercial area. He was rushed to the hospital with injuries that are believed to be life-threatening.
The Department of Labour has launched an investigation into the incident to determine if proper safety measures were in place and what led to the fall. Authorities are expected to provide more information as the investigation progresses.
